Shrubbery - I totally support your persistence in keeping RJWMB devoted to royal jewels and deterring attempts to broaden it.
[I had started to respond to that posting then stopped myself in time.]
The board has achieved wonders over the years because of its concentrated focus. We would never have made so much progess if we had tolerated lots of diversions.
Blogs do not meet the need you have identified.
I too have considered a website at times and your current remarks enthuse me to think again.
I have another project occupying my time just at present but will keep the thinking hat on.
I have envisaged a website with many departments and possible section leaders being involved in its operation.
