I immediately thought it was a tiara as corsage, and an impressive tiara it must be too.
I even thought that all the minor elements and brooches could form a lesser version of the main tiara.
It must be fun mixing and matching items when they are so versatile - and when one has so many items, of course.

You are right, at least 5 small : brooches/elements on the bodice of the dress : match the design of the tiara. : And is it just me or that big floral corsage : looks like it could be mounted on a frame : and worn as tiara?? The shape looks perfect! : Or it could be in fact a convertible tiara : removed from the frame and worn as corsage : . : : : : --Previous Message-- : : I just noticed that minor elements in the : tiara match some of the brooches decorating : the neckline. : : --Previous Message-- : : That Duchess is wearing a jaw dropping array : of jewels. : : : : --Previous Message-- : Martina you're a gem, thank you! Never seen : this photo before. For what I can see it : does seem the same tiara. : Impressive piece, but it seems to require a : nice "pillow hair" to sit : properly. I have the impression that this : tiara is most likely very rigid and not : easely adjusted to diferent head diameters. : : : : : : --Previous Message-- : : Yes, it is Princess Antonia of Prussia, and : I believe that the tiara is a Wellington : heirloom.
