Fifty years ago she and the Maharaja. with their young son, were are the plane with me from Agra to Jaipur. Sitting next to me was a young man, a member of the ruling family of Nepal - not the royal family. His name was Bhanu Rana. That evening the young man and his brother in law's brother, an a.d.c. to the Maharaja, came to my hotel, the Rambagh Palace. The next day the 2 of them drove me around Jaipur. I read her book with much interest.
