I think I agree with Tamara, it is very unlikely that the Queen would have put such effort in getting the pearl out of its (beautiful!) setting with a very non-eyecatching result. The Queen could have worn the pearl with surrounding brilliants as a pendant to a collier (necklace), less effort, greater effect.
That is why I think the pearl pendant worn by the Queen and the Stockholm pearl are not the same.
