    It looks like either an original or a copy of a renaissance style brooch. They would take the odd-shaped 'baroque' pearls and turn them into all sorts of fantastical mythologic creatures. In this case a triton surrounded by enamel and small jewels to create the whole. Albert brought his love of Renaissance style to Victoria and created many inspired pieces of furniture and jewelry for her as gifts. This looks to be original, but Albert was very creative. lovely photos and thanks for sharing
