My god!!!!!!!! What is wrong with you and Henri? She is The Queen of the Netherlands and that is something she is 24/7 no matter what she is doing or where she is. It's not a job and it's not like she showed up with tiara's piled on her head and dripping in jewels. She wore privately owned earrings (tanzanite and rubies for another event) and on the day she was received in the Presidential palace by the first lady she also added a small brooch from the Mellerio ruby parure. She is not sending mixed signals. She showed up dressed for the day. A day would include visits and meetings with high government officials and meeting people who benefit from the programs she as advisor of the UN is supporting. She met very proud women who ran their own businesses and those businesses were growing. The day she wore the small ruby brooch she also adresses a conference of businesswomen not just recipiants of micro-credit. Besides i don't think the people she visited were upset by her jewels. --Previous Message-- : Especially when visiting very poor people and : trying to explain the benefits of : micro-credits (50 Euro ... ) : Besides, regardless her present style as : Consort of the Dutch King, she is there in : her function as special representative of : the UN, NOT of the Kingdom of the : Netherlands so, wearing those super : eye-catching heirlooms from the : Orange-Nassay Dynasty is not in the best : of taste to put it mildly : : : --Previous Message-- : I became confused. What does Queen Máxima : want : to communicate? The message is just not : clear. : : : :
