Crown Princess Mary's large pearl necklace Archived Message

I suspect that Crown Princess Mary's necklace is real.
The size of the pearls suggest they are South Sea Pearls. I noticed that some of the pearls are drop shaped, not perfectly round. So far I have not seen a high definition photo which would show any markings on the pearls or provide a good estimation of their luster.
Whether these are newly acquired pearls is another question. From at least the mid nineteenth-century natural South Sea pearls were being harvested along the northern coasts of Australia, so it is possible that the Danish Royal family might have had such pearls which have been restrung into a modern style. As we all know, today, South Sea pearls are cultured and so it is also possible that these were purchased for the Crown Princess.
Another possibility is that these are very, very high quality fresh water pearls.
Does anyone have a HD photo?
