Oh John, Empress Farah Diba and Princess Grace are to me the top of royal elegance for the ladies of their generation. I've never seen a pic of them in public appearences where they don't look absolutely perfect. Yes, true elegance and taste can mean just a simple pair of Diamond or pearl earrings, a nice pearl necklace and a brooch  .
I do wish younger royal generations would sometimes understand that. And I do wish seing Pss Charlene with some of the beautiful pieces from Pss Grace.
