Hi Franck, I did think of that too, however, I still feel that the top of the brooch in question is not "sprayed" out enough and is too flat for the lily. I thought that one of the other pictures posted might have been the detached lily but I see from Maridje's post above that is in fact the lovely 2 flower diamond brooch worn lately by the Duchess of Cornwall. The mystery continues... Cheers! Bryce --Previous Message-- : Dear Pj Kiser, : : Thank you for your kind answer. : : A Bryce says I don't think it the lily : brooch because. : : The lily is bigger and longer than the : brooch on the photo. Only the flower can be : detachable. : : Franck : : --Previous Message-- : Here are a couple of other possibilities : that : might work although it is hard to tell given : the poor angle of the brooch in the original : picture. : I suggest these 2 pics because they were of : comparable size, flatness and colouring. : Although I must admit...your guess is as : good as mine??? : : : : : : : : : --Previous Message-- : I am not convinced that this is the Cartier : Lily. I know it sounds odd but I do not : think it is long enough ! : I also do not think that the top of the : brooch depicts the floral spray of the lily. : I have attached a picture to help : illustrate. IMHO this brooch is still TBD. : : : : --Previous Message-- : Hi Franck : I found this today and I agree with Joye : it's the Queen Mother's Cartier Lily Brooch. : Majesty Magazine V26 #11 P9 : PJ : : : : : : : : : :
