Russian sapphire gift to Queen Mary from Marie of Saxe-Coburg/Edinburgh Archived Message

I have just finished rereading Julia Gelardi's book From Splendour to Revolution and she states that the Duchess of Coburg requested that after her death in 1920 she wanted Queen Mary to have "a chain with sapphires and a brooch to match. She insisted that it should be a Russian jewel" Her daughter, Marie of Romania wrote to King George V "Bee will bring it to dear May and ask her to think of my sad old Mama sometimes when she wears it"
Apparently this was because the Duchess was "eternally grateful for the moral support and financial assistance that King George and Queen Mary had given her in her last days"

Has anyone any ideas of which brooch and chain this could be? I had thought of the brooch that appeared in Rome yesterday but Ursula states on her site that although it is a Romanov sapphire it was bought by Queen Mary from the Tsarina Maria Feodorovna.
