    Unknown earrings or optical illusion?? Archived Message

    Here are a couple of pictures from the 1972 state visit by QEII, the DofE and Pns Anne to Thailand.
    The earrings worm by HM seem to have ruby drops.
    Is this just an illusion from light refracting off the diamonds?
    Can anyone identify these earrings for me please.
