In 1988 Queen Beatrix received Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh for a grand banquet with fireworks in the garden.
The dresscode however was not white tie, so no grand jewels were worn. There is a chance that the dresscode for the monegasque visit will be the same but the examples of the pre-Investiture banquet at the Rijksmuseum and the banquet for the recent Swedish visit show that there is always a chance for some serious sparkle.
