A number of newspaper reports state that the Empress Frederick of Germany gave Princess Sophie a ruby necklace as a wedding present for her marriage to the Crown Prince of Greece in 1889. Some state that the necklace could be worn as a tiara.
Has anyone any information on this jewel?
