Erik, the introduction to one of the catalogues (http://www.bruun-rasmussen.dk/vfs/catalogues/849/849_110614.pdf) speaks of descendants of Frederik VIII who have entrusted Bruun Rasmussen to sell a large collection of paintings and antiques with royal provenance. The items are marked with Frederik's monogram. I searched for "Frederik" and checked for the monogram.
Edit: The monogram is only in the catalogue entries, but the website describes the lot's provenance as "descendants of Frederik VIII until today" in case it's from the Rosenborg estate. Searching for that phrase on the website leads to 37 results.
