We talked last week about this fantastic piece of jewelry and here are some close up pictures. It is designed by her husband the prince consort in cooperation with their favorite goldsmith, the amazing Torben Hardenberg. These pictures are from art historian Bente Scavenius (friend of the royal family) book about this true artist.
The necklace consist of oriental pearls, baroque cut rubies, 18 carat gold and brilliants. There is also a pair of earrings but no picture of these.
HM also own a pair of hair combs that consist of oxidized silver, 24 carat gold, emeralds and baroque pearls made by Torben.
And also a brooch called "my 3 frogs" that consist of oxidized silver, 24 carat gold, diamond and baroque pearl.
And not to forget. The unique brooch/pendant in 18 carat gold, family turquoises, emerald and brilliants. The theme here is the hunting goddess Diana. She wore it lately on their official state visit to China. There is also a pair of earrings but no picture.
