I am not sure which are the earrings in the first pic. And these pics are both of court occasions I believe. In the second Queen Victoria is wearing the Turkish necklace but not the earrings. --Previous Message-- : Stuart, this site contains some photos of the : Turkish necklace and earrings. : http://lamodeillustree.livejournal.com/324438.html : There is an initial image from a painting. : Then, if you scroll down, you will see, near : the end, a photograph of QV wearing the : earrings. They are distinctly different from : the pendants from Queen Alexandra's : necklace. Ursula's site has photos of the : Duchess of Connaught wearing the necklace - : see : http://www.royal-magazin.de/england/connaught/connaught-diamond-necklace.htm : : --Previous Message-- : My understanding is that QV's "Turkish : necklace and earrings", which she wore : for her wedding, were left to the Duke of : Connaught, who was said to be her favourite : son. I am sure Nellie will know more about : that than I do. : : --Previous Message-- : Are these earrings the pair worn by Queen : Victoria on her wedding day? They are : referred to as "Turkish necklace and : earrings" : : --Previous Message-- : : I am never sure about that aspect but I : expect they must be. : They are the earrings now worn in Norway. : : : : : : : : : --Previous Message-- : Are the side "cascades" (to each : side of the main elements) from A the same : as B? : : : : : : : : : :
