I am intrigued. Would those who are experts on HM's brooches think that the fact she has worn this brooch 5 times since July 2012 suggest that it is a new favourite? As Nellie said HM has hundreds of brooches so how frequently she wears a brooch might indicate some special significance for one reason or another. My personal impression is that the top section of the brooch represents a Tudor rose with foliage and that the bottom represents a vase. What do others think? Of course the question is why has HM worn this brooch so frequently in recent years and what is the background to this.
