The earrings seen on Margarita are not part of the Peacock Parure. The set was created for Queen Wilhelmina and like her mother before her she did not wear earrings (Wilhelmina thought they were common).
Irene was given several pieces of ruby jewelry so she always combined her ruby earrings with the Peacock set. I have no doubt the ruby earrings are still part of Princess Irene's personal jewels.
