I do hope that Elisabetta will wear the Savoy-Aosta tiara which Princess Astrid wears so beautifully. It is a very elegant and elaborate piece. We don't really know who owns it, do we? It might be on loan from Lorenz' mother, but maybe the tiara and also the emerald necklace were given as presents at some point. That way there won't be inheritance tax, and as eldest son Lorenz might have inheritated it anyway. (But that is speculation, of course)
There could be other options for a wedding tiara.
She could borrow something from any of Amadeo's grandmothers: Paola's art deco diamond bandeau, or Margherita's other diamond tiara. Or there might be a tiara in the bride's family. Or a nice convertible necklace/tiara as a wedding gift  ?
I'm really looking forward to Saturday!
