    Hello,

    while looking for pics of Queen Paola, I happened to find something else (as usual when you are looking for something... ), which might be interesting too.

    Here are two pictures of Princess Ingeborg of Sweden, wife of Prince Carl, Duke of Västergötland, and mother of Queen Astrid of Belgium, Crown Princess Märtha of Norway, Princess Margaretha of Denmark and Prince Carl Bernadotte Jr.

    On this first pic (from the 1920s according to the caption), she is wearing a big pendant/brooch suspended at the end of her pearl necklace. A pearl drop hangs from the brooch. Could it be one of the emerald brooches which later went to Belgium or Luxembourg?

    On this second pic, Princess Ingeborg is wearing long strands of pearls and an impressive pair of pearl drop earrings. Does anyone know the whereabouts of these earrings? I do not remember having seen them in Norway, Belgium or Luxembourg... Yet, they are huge!
