Many thanks Arthur. I am inclined to think the bracelet matches with Queen Mary's necklace.

: For this bracelet, there are two possible
: options, but I do not know which one is the
: right one, since both jewels look very
    : similar:
    : 1) a bracelet from Princess Marie-Louise of
    : Schleswig-Holstein (1872-1956),
: grand-daughter of Queen Victoria, who died
: childless. She bequeathed several of her
: jewels to members of the Royal Family; Queen
: Elizabeth II received one of her two pearl
: and diamond bracelets worn on this picture:
    :
    :
    :
: 2) a pearl and diamond choker from Queen
: Mary. I remember I had read somewhere that
: this choker can be divided into two
    : bracelets.

: Does anyone know the history of the bracelet
: QEII is wearing in the photo Arthur posted
    : of HM in Nepal?

    : About this picture :
    :
    :
    :
: I think the 2nd bracelet (from the elbow) is
: one of the two diamond bracelets of the set,
: and not a different bracelet. Its particular
: look on this photo might just be a
: coincidence due to the respective position
: of each bracelet around the arm.
    :
: On the picture below, from the same photo
: session, the bracelet looks totally similar
    : to the other four.
    :

: About your second question, and this
    : picture:
    :
    :
    :
: I do not know which are the smaller
    : bracelets.
    :
: I am not totally sure, but the ring could be
: this one (here worn by Queen Elizabeth II
: during her State visit to Nepal in 1986). In
: my files, I have noted it was a wedding gift
: to Queen Mary from her brothers. The ring is
: also pictured in Angela Kelly's book
: Dressing the Queen (page 91).
    :
    :
    :
: The long pearl and diamond sautoir the
: Queen-mother is wearing on the picture is
: one of her wedding gifts, presented by
: "the Citizens of London". She has
: rarely worn it, and only in the 1920s -
: maybe because this style of sautoir went out
: of fashion after the 1930s... I would love
: to see it worn again - maybe by the Duchess
: of Cambridge, along with the Papyrus Tiara
: or the Cartier Halo Tiara!

: Lovely clear photos Arthur especially of
    : sapphire engagement ring.
    :
: Question is about bracelet 2nd from elbow
: it appears to sit higher and differently
: from other 4 QEQM bracelets. Is it part
    : of the set?
