Re: Camilla, Duchess of Rothesay, meanwhile... Archived Message

During the Opening of the Commonwealth Games, Camilla, Duchess of Rothesay (as she is known in Scotland), did not wear a brooch (), but wore a beautiful pair of turquoise and diamond earrings. She has already worn several times these earrings with her turquoise and diamond necklace (even in the 1990s, before her marriage to Prince Charles).

The day before (22th July, 2014), while she attended a Fashion Festival in the Assembly Rooms in Edinburgh, Camilla wore the lovely lily-of-the-valley brooch, which had been presented by Soviet leader Nikita Khrushchev to the Queen-Mother in 1956:

: Not the second, but the third outing: this
: brooch has been worn first in France, during
: the reception at the British Embassy on 5th
: June, 2014, then at Royal Ascot on 18th
: June, and now in Glasgow.

: Her Majesty seems to like this brooch very
    : much!

    : It's a puzzle - I thought it might be the
: double flower at first glimpse but I'm not
: sure now. Hopefully we will get a beautiful
: view of it for the speech...

: Can anyone make out which brooch Her Majesty
: is wearing to open the Commonwealth Games
: tonight? At first glance when she got out of
: the car, it looked like the double flower
: which made its debut in France recently, but
: in further shots it appears too long.
