The sapphire tiara is really a monster as the design is also not the most beautiful. It uis a wall of diamonds. The Württemberg's have also a very big and high diamond and sapphire tiara but it has more beautiful design.

: I too am looking forward to see the TnT
    : wedding tiara!
    :
: From what I know, the empire tiara (your
: first pic) was not sold at the auction. It
: did not reach the minimum price. But it also
: hasn't been seen since then. So it is not
: clear whether it is still in the family.
: It's my secret hope that Maria Theresia will
: wear it and thus answer the question.
    :
    : I simply can't understand why Gloria didn't
: want to keep one of the 'white' tiara. She
    : is a colour-loving women and I understand
: that she loves the coloured stones. But
: didn't she think about future brides?
    :
: Anyway, personally I call the sapphire tiara
: the 'monster'. It would be "something
: blue", but no, please not!

    : I can't await the 13th of September when
: Princess Gloria of Thurn and Taxis eldest
: daughter, Princess Maria Theresia & Hugo
: Wilson will tie the knot at Schloß
: Garatshausen (not at St. Emmeram as I had
: hoped for ). Nevertheless: As three diamond
: tiaras and one pearl & diamond tiara
: were sold years ago I wondered which
: priceless heirloom might adorn the princess
    : on her wedding day?
    :
: These were the tiaras sold in 1992 (pictures

: Or is there another one? Any ideas? I
: vaguely remember that a second sale was held
: with Thurn & Taxis heirlooms so please
: correct me, when I am wrong!
