According to Trond Norén Isaksen, the initial parure, as reported in Queen Sofia of Sweden's documents, consisted in a tiara, a necklace and a brooch. Estelle Bernadotte later bought a ring, a pair of earrings and a bracelet to go with it.
Still according to Trond Norén Isaksen, Countess Christine Bernadotte af Wisborg (Estelle Bernadotte's daughter-in-law) told him that she and her husband Folke Jr., in consultation with their children, decided to sell the parure, preferably to the Swedish royal family as they wanted the jewellery to remain in the Bernadotte family. The Swedish court contacted the Norwegian royal family, who was interested and bought the parure. But the question remains unsolved why the Norwegian royal family would have bought a parure that they would have never worn since.
Kjell Arne Totland, former royal reporter for the weekly magazine Se og Hřr, when interviewed by the Norwegian TV channel TV2 Nyhetskanalen following the birth of Princess Estelle, stated that the parure had been bought by the main line of the Swedish royal family. But we do not know how he got this information, and whether it is reliable or not.
In both hypotheses, the full parure seems to have remained undivided.

Of course, it would be strange if the Swedish or the Norwegian royal family had paid out a fair amount of money to buy a parure, just to keep it locked in the vaults afterwards...
