The Duchess also owned a large number of personal gems including insect brooches which were each year an Anniversary present from her husband (His wedding present had been a yellow and white diamond butterfly brooch) a turquoise and diamond necklace bought from the auction of Cornelia Countess of Craven in the early 1960s and many many other items which were displayed in the exhibition at Chatsworth in 2010 to celebrate her 90th birthday
