Crown Princess Mary of Denmark's "F" broochArchived Message

I have found this large picture of Crown Princess Mary of Denmark at the wedding of Princess Madeleine of Sweden and Christopher O'Neill's wedding on 8th June 2013.
On this picture, we can have a good view of the "Midnight Tiara", as well as the diamond earrings (that the Princess has regularly worn).
Also interesting is the little brooch that the Crown Princess has used to fasten her sash of the Swedish Order of the Polar Star at the back of her shoulder (visible behind the see-through fabric of the dress). As you can see, this brooch depicts the letter "F" - probably a tribute to her husband Frederik (or possibly to a previous King Frederik). A lovely and very touching detail!
She has already worn this brooch, always to fasten her sash at the back. Here at Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden and Daniel Westling's wedding on 19th June 2010:
