On 7th November 2013, Queen Sonja wore in Istanbul, during a State visit she and King Harald V paid to Turkey, a lovely and probably antique turquoise and diamond pendant, along with a pair of matching earrings.

Does anyone know about the origin of this pendant (and of the matching earrings)? Has it already worn earlier, by Queen Sonja, or another Norwegian or Scandinavian royal lady?
The only possibly matching picture I have in my file is this portrait of Princess Maud of Great-Britain (later Queen Maud of Norway) in 1893, for the wedding of the future King George V and Queen Mary of the United-Kingdom:
The shape of the brooch pinned by Maud on her corsage could match the shape of Queen Sonja's pendant (but I am not totally sure).
What do you think?
Thanks in advance,
Arthur
