Given the color of her outfit. I would go with garnets. Beautiful pieces.

    : Yesterday, 2nd October 2014, Princess Beatrix
: of the Netherlands attended the Max van der
: Stoel Award in the Spanish Court (a historic

    :
: The award was first established in 2001 by
: the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of the
: Netherlands, named after Max van der Stoel,
: a distinguished Dutch statesman, who was the
: first High Commissioner of National
: Minorities in the Organisation for Security
: and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE). The award
: is presented every second year to either a
: person, group or institution for
: extraordinary and outstanding work, fighting
: for the rights of national minorities.
    :
: This year’s award went to the
    : non-governmental organisation,
: Spravedlivost, which is located in the
: Jalal-Abad Province in southern Kyrgyzstan.
: The Spravedlivost organisation won the award
: for its contribution and effort to improve
: the position of national minorities in
: Kyrgyzstan, by raising public awareness of

    : conditions.
    :
: During this ceremony, Princess Beatrix wore
: with her elegant red outfit a bow brooch
: which is unknown to me.
    :
: The brooch seems to have a golden color,
: with a red centre (garnet?).
    :
: Is it a new addition to the Orange-Nassau
: collection? Or was this brooch already seen
    : before?
    :
    : Thanks in advance,
