    Kent aquamarine tiara Archived Message

The Duchess of Kent has worn the aquamarine tiara at least twice.

And I found in my notes a post from VeronikaN from 2011 (I hope she doesn't mind my quoite):

"I flipped after a very long time through my copy of 'One Hundred Tiaras - An Evolution of Style 1800-1990', the exhition catalogue of the 1997 Wartski Tiara Exhibition.
    [..]
    Exhibit No. 4:
A tiara in the form of five clusters of aquamarines mounted as stylized flower heads with the addition of pearls and brilliant and rose diamond 'petals'.
Signed G. Fouquet. By Georges Fouquet, Paris. Circa 1908.
The Fouquet family made highly imaginative jewellery from 1860-1960 changing their distinctive style with every fashion.
Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Kent "

So it seems that they owned it at the time of the exhibition.

The aquamarine tiara seems to have no family connections, it wasn't ever seen worn by another family member. So it seems logical that they would sell it first in times of financial need.

They probably still own the diamond and pearl tiara which Lady Helen has worn at her wedding; and the sapphire tiara that was made from the necklace of the beautiful Cambridge sapphire parure.
