Queen Mary almost always wore her brooches at the centre of her collar or of her corsage. Her grand-daughter, Queen Elizabeth II, on the contrary, almost always wear her brooches on one side or the other, and very rarely at the centre.

Queen Elizabeth II wore a full stomacher only once - Queen Mary's diamond stomacher, for her golden jubilee reception with the other reigning monarches, I think:

Otherwise, she has worn only the bottom section of the stomacher - and often on the shoulder, as pointed out by Alyend.

: I noticed in one of the pictures posted by
: Arthur that the Queen is wearing the lower
: part of Queen Mary's diamond stomacher, and
: that she's wearing it in the proper place
: and not on her shoulder as she used to do in
: her youth. I think she has rarely worn it
    : properly as a stomacher.

: Actually, these earrings were worn several
: times by Queen Elizabeth II, and also by
: Queen Alexandra. I have no pictures of Queen
: Mary or Queen(-Mother) Elizabeth wearing
    : them.

: Wow wow. I have never noticed the Queen's
: emerald & diamond earrings in other
: small photos of this State Banquet. I have
: never seen worn by the Queen - or any other
: member of the RF - in other occasions.

    : Extra-ordinary!!

    : Hello,
    :
: while wandering on the net, I have found
: this large picture of Queen Elizabeth II
: during her State Visit to Austria in 1969.
    :
: The Queen is wearing Queen Alexandra's
: Peeresses Kokoshnik Tiara, the Emerald
: Godman Necklace, Queen Mary's True Lovers
: Knot Brooch and Queen Victoria's Emerald
    : Fringe Earrings.
    :
: It is the best picture I have ever seen of
    : these rarely seen earrings.
    :
: According to Leslie Field, these earrings
: were purchased by Queen Victoria in April
: 1850, and left by her to the Crown.
    :
    : Enjoy!
: (and sorry for the silly caption overprinted
: on the picture, for which I am not
    : responsible)
