    I admit that, after seeing better views of this necklace, I am a bit disappointed compared to my initial impression. I may sound a bit conservative, but this bib style of jewels seems to me quite inappropriate for a royal princess.

    The Duchess of Cambridge should dare to wear real royal jewels. After all, she is married to the heir-in-second to the British throne! And I am sure that these classical-style royal jewels are not reserved for elderly and old-fashioned Queens, but can be perfectly fit for a young and modern princess.

    For instance, nobody blamed the Duchess of Cambridge when she wore the Nizam of Hyderabad necklace: nobody said or wrote, at the time, that this necklace did not fit her, or suggested she should not have worn such a royal jewel.
