Thank you so much Arthur. You have given me a lot to think about. Yes, I agree, the gemstone might be jade; however, I do wonder about the bracelet, because there are so many beads and it is such a large bracelet. If it were jade (no matter what the numerous colours, -- and shades within those diverse colour ranges), it would be a major jewel, even if the beads were not the best quality jade, -- but that comment probably simply highlights my lack of knowledge. If the earrings, which have relatively large stones, were jade, I would expect that, because of the value of good jade, some diamonds would have been used as studs or surrounding the gems - but perhaps, I am again showing my ignorance.
