Annie - there might be more information to obtain at the Powerhouse exhibition. However, I would not be surprised if they give out only the official information prepared ahead of time. If all our research and exchanges here have been drawn to their attention Powerhouse might not yet be ready to deliver any modified version until the background story has been well and truly checked over. Anyway, I suppose the story is the current responsibility of Caroline de Guitaut who has brought the brooch to Australia. --Previous Message-- : I see your point exactly Nellie & can : understand that the Royal Collection people : are usually busy working out the next : exhibition etc.. but all the same it is very : interesting who were the actual designers : & craftsmen. I feel I will have to make : the effort & get down to Sydney to visit : the Powerhouse museum while the brooch is : still in the exhibition, I haven`t been for : years since the Diana display I think. :
