Hello Franck, I am quite sure that Queen Elizabeth II's turquoise brooch is not the brooch pinned on Queen Mary's collar. The shape is clearly different (lozenge-shaped for QEII's brooch, oval for QM's). Nevertheless, I tend to agree that the jewels worn by Queen Mary could be turquoises, rather than pearls. I wonder if the two "brooches" pinned by Queen Mary on her bodice could be the earrings of the Teck turquoise parure, which was a wedding gift to Queen Mary, and which was later given by Queen Mary to her daughter-in-law the Duchess of Gloucester as a wedding gift (then, the top cluster would have been turned by 90°). I am not 100% sure, though. Thanks to you and to Joye, anyway, for this unknown picture of Queen Mary.
