The Queen looked lovely as she and the Duke of Edinburgh officiated at the re-opening of Canada House - Canada's High Commission in the UK. (The same as an Embassy but "High Commission" is used for Commonwealth Countries).
I hoped she might wear some Canadian themed jewels but, alas, she did not. It was however a nice outing for her mother's diamond Palm Leaf Brooch and her usual day pearls and earrings.
Canada House has undergone some reconstruction and HM opened the new look - 90 years after her grandfather, King George V (with QM), officiated at the original opening in 1925.
