Last September, I had the opportunity to visit Fontainebleau Castle (a visit I highly recommend to anyone: a palace full of history, which has remained unaltered since the downfall of the Imperial regime in 1870, splendid rooms, beautiful gardens... and very small crowds of tourists! ), and I could take several pictures in the Chinese Museum, that I share here with you: - a view of the main room (the blue enamelled chimera which was stolen can be seen at the bottom right of the picture): - the Tibetan mandala (sorry for the reflect on the glass of the display cupboard): - the crown of the King of Siam: one of the main and most impressive pieces of the collection, displayed at a prominent place in the cupboard: And a close-up view of the bottom section of the crown:
