Well, the Duchess of Cornwall looked great... but her choice of jewels turns out to be a bit boring, in my humble opinion. Camilla now wears almost exclusively the Greville diamond tiara. It is a beautiful and impressive tiara, but she has at her disposal at least four other tiaras that are hardly seen, if never at all: the Durbar diamond tiara, the Teck Crescent tiara, her Cubbitt-Shand Family tiara, and the Keppel ruby tiara/necklace. And she has matched this tiara with her pearl choker with the large square diamond clasp and her Rose of York diamond brooch, pinned at the top of her shoulder (and not at the front of the shoulder, as it should be), which is the very same combination that she had used in almost all the tiara-events she has attended in the past two years: State opening of Parliament in May 2013 and May 2014, Irish State visit in April 2014 (no necklace, but same tiara and brooch), Diplomatic reception in December 2014 (Cubbitt-Shand Tiara, but same choker [brooch not visible])... The choker is very nice, but is often used by Camilla for day-events, so it is surprising to use it also for tiara-events, whereas she has at her disposal several gorgeous gem-studded necklaces which would be more appropriate for such an occasion.
