I came cross this 1761 picture of Queen Charlotte, and at the risk of seeming obsessed with the Hanover Dispute wonder if she could be wearing the 'other' earrings mentioned in Nellie's post as 'a pair of single dropped brilliant earrings, set with several brilliants at the back'. The bow brooch she is wearing also seems very similar to that worn by Princess Thyra here http://members2.boardhost.com/royal-jewels/msg/1425102402.html Could we have a couple of links here?
