Yesterday (11th March 2015), Queen Mathilde of Belgium attended the National Conference on Financial Literacy at the Egmont Palace in Brussels.
She wore on this occasion a brooch (which is in itself quite noteworthy! ), and a brooch that I do not remember to have seen earlier. It has the shape of an insect, with the body in sapphires, and the head and the wings in diamonds. Lovely, isn't it?
