    I think it is unklikely that Queen Elizabeth II would use stitching to secure any brooch.
    First, I do believe her jewellery is kept in tip top condition so that fasteners would be reliable.
    Second, it is unlikely that anyone would be pushing past her close enough to dislodge anything.
    Third, I expect she has long since given up vigorous forms of dancing in public.
