Thanks Arthur for the photomontage 😃... Actually I like it..the only thing that doesn't work is the earrings...not even the length but they look bulky which doesn't work with such grand necklace and a delicate tiara... At this point, the earrings that were given with the tiara will work better...turquoise earrings need more gold in them to balance better with the rest of the pieces.
Glenn...I don't know what you have against the gold tiara...it looks lovely on the Queen..even against her hair color 😉... I think it was well designed...better than gold poppies lol😉😉
--Previous Message-- : : And would have wished the earrings did not : have the 2 middle pieces - but just the : utter part and the drop. : : I agree it would look probably better. The : earrings look too long, IMHO. : : BTW, these earrings are versatile: the drops : and the two medium tiers can be removed at : will. : Queen Margrethe has worn these earrings only : with the large top "stud" (here : during her State visit to China in April : 2014): : : : (Pictures: Feng Li/Pool/Getty Images : AsiaPac, via Zimbio.com) : : But on at least one occasion (the : bicentenary of the Norwegian Constitution in : Eidsvoll, Norway, on 17th May 1814), Queen : Margrethe wore the large top studs with the : bottom pendants, without the medium stones: : : : (Pictures: Nigel Waldron/Getty Images : Europe, via Zimbio.com) : : : : Try to imagine the demi-parure worn : together : with the newest gold tiara... : : Let's your dream come true! : : : : What do you think? I do not know if it would : work - because I do not know whether the : gold tiara and the necklace have the same : shade of gold. : : : :
