I think the leaf is an nephrite or jade or jadeite (same origine lapis nephriticus) platine and diamonds. Faberge created an other brooch with the same material , sold by Christie's 24 April 2009 New York, Rockefeller Plaza : A Jeweled Gold-Mounted Nephrite Lily Of The Valley Brooch Marked Fabergé, Moscow, 1896-1908, scratched inventory number 25479 The translucent carved nephrite leaf mounted with three gold stems set with a pearl and two diamonds simulating buds, issuing from a diamond-set petal, the reverse mounted with a gold pin, marked on pin and mount.
