Leek badge of the Welsh Guards Archived Message

Yesterday (30 April, 2015), Queen Elizabeth II presented new colours to the 1st Battalion of the Welsh Guards at Windsor Castle. For this occasion, the Queen wore a diamond badge representing a leek - a well-known Welsh emblem.

A few months ago, Joye had published a picture of the Queen wearing the badge, with a caption reading that this badge was a present from the regiment - each guardsman had paid 12 1/2 pence to contribute to the regiment's gift:

In the thread following Joye's post mentioned above, we had had a discussion to determine if the similar-looking leek badges worn by Queen Elizabeth II, by Diana, Princess of Wales, and by Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, were one and the same badge, or if each lady had her own badge:

Yesterday's ceremony gave us a (partial) answer: the Queen's badge and Camilla's badge are two different jewels... as they both wore their leek badge yesterday!

The remaining question is now: is the badge which was worn by Diana the same as the one worn by Camilla? or as the one worn by the Queen? or is it a third badge, inherited by William or Harry, and lying somewhere in a vault since 25 years?
