    Thank you Arthur, I missed the second outing of the brooch!

    The author says that this brooch could be the one worn by the Queen Mother on VE Day in 1945. Looking at the pictures I think it could be, but it's difficult to tell. It would make sense about why the Queen has worn it on VE Day in 2015.
