Oh yes I do remember so well the bride's entrance, and Alexandre de Paris acting as bridesmaid . And I also remember the first glimpse of the bride in the car, I spoted she was wearing Queen Amélia's tiara and I was just over the moon with joy. Queen Amélia's tiara at last, after so many years unseen!!!
The Dom Luis diadem is one of the few jewels from the Queen that remained, sadly. From the portuguese wedding gifts the most mysterious to me is the mirrored diamond necklace, gift from Queen Maria Pia. Never seen a portrait or a picture of the Queen wearing it. Whereabouts totally unknown... The diamond and saphire necklace, gift from the groom, was pictured I believe only once and also disapeared at some point...
