Video "Les Trésors de la joaillerie française" on French TV Archived Message

Last Monday, the French TV channel France 5 broadcasted a program called "Les Trésors de la joaillerie française" (the treasures of French jewellery). The one-hour-long program (in French) focused on the history of the major jewellery companies of the Place Vendôme and Rue de la Paix in Paris (Mellerio dits Meller, Chaumet, Boucheron, Cartier, Van Cleef and Arpels), their most famous clients, and the evolution of jewellery style from the 18th century until the mid-20th century.

Nothing really new (at least for people reading regularly this board ), but I have not noted any mistake or erroneous information either, and there are nice footage of some of the (old or new) jewels created by these companies. Enjoy!

NB: the video linked above will remain available only one week after the program was broadcasted, i.e. unfortunately until next Monday (1 June).

And here is a screencap from my probably favorite tiara - Marie Bonaparte, Princess of Greece's Laurel diamond tiara, by Cartier:
