I have found these pictures of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, attending the premiere of the film "The Prince of Persia: Sands of Time", held at the Vue Westfield on May 9, 2010 in London.
Princess Michael wears an interesting brooch in the form of a sea creature (maybe a whale?), whose body is made from a large baroque pearl, in gold setting, with a large pendant made of a red cabochon stone (probably a spinel rather than a ruby).
