Wonderful, thank you very much Beth, the first and second tiaras I had never seen being worn by Pss Muna. She still is such an elegant and classy lady. Thank you for opening this thread, I really apreciate seing jewelry from less discussed royalty.
The first tiara on your pics, the circle tiara, was also worn by King Hussein's younger sister Pss Basma at the Persépolis celebrations on October 1971.
I do not know the provenance or present whereabouts of this tiara, I believe it has not been seen for sometime. Pss Basma has her own tiara, a diamond scroll tiara she inherited from her mother Queen Zein, and that she wore also as bridal tiara on her wedding on April 1970. She wore it for the Brunei celebrations in July 2005. Also Pss Basma's daughter Farah wore it as her bridal tiara.
The pearl and diamonds tiara was worn by Pss Muna also at the Persépolis celebrations. I believe this tiara is convertible into a necklace.
This tiara was also worn by Pss Muna's daughter, Pss Zein bint al-Hussein, on the oficial visit visit that some of the jordan royals made to Norway in the beginnings of King Abdullah's reign.
I remember the late king's eldest daughter, Pss Alia, was also there and wore the tiara from her late mother Pss Dina.
I have a question, if anyone could help, I am looking for any pic of the lovely Princess Alia (Prince Feisal's first wife) wearing a tiara. To this day I have never found any picture of this lady with a tiara, althought every other jordanian princess of her generation (all her sisters in law) have been seen wearing such jewel. I think its most plausible that she would have her own set of jewels and wore them at some point.
