I came across this picture of Queen Elizabeth attending the return banquet for the State Visit of the King of Nepal at the Nepalese Embassy on 18Oct1960.
The picture caught my eye for 3, reasons....
(1) it is unusual to find Queen Elizabeth wearing a foreign order - in this case the Grand Cross of the Order of the Ojaswi Rajanya
(2) the picture is printed backwards and
(3) I do not remember seeing the ruby bracelet before. It looks similar to the deceiving sapphire one with diamonds on one side.
