I would not be surprised if we see Sofia with one of Silvia's modern sets of diamonds and emeralds in the near future. That would work nicely with her tiara.
The historic emeralds are too big for her delicate tiara and they would not match well. That demi parure works best with the Baden Fringe, Queen Sofia's diamond tiara or the Braganca tiara.
